Tour Details
A visit to Pattaya’s Crocodile Farm is one of the most colorful experiences you can have in Thailand. The park features rare stone formations shaped by nature over millions of years and a beautifully maintained Japanese bonsai garden. The zoo is home to dozens of animal species: tigers, bears, elephants, zebras, parrots, marabou storks, and of course, crocodiles. The highlight of the visit is the famous crocodile show, where human skill meets the raw power of nature. For the brave, there’s even a chance to “go fishing” for crocodiles and try exotic crocodile dishes at the local restaurant.

We booked the tour the day before, and the next morning we were picked up from the hotel. The park isn’t big but it’s really nice, with fossilized trees all around that give it a special vibe. There are different areas to walk through — birds, fish, a small zoo, a bonsai garden, a waterfall, and elephants. The crocodile show is seriously intense. After it ended, we even went into the arena to take a photo riding a crocodile. It was scary at first, but once we were inside, it felt surprisingly calm. Overall it’s a good way to spend a few hours, especially if you haven’t been there before.

We went to the crocodile farm mostly out of curiosity, without any big expectations. There are really a lot of crocodiles, and at times it feels a bit unsettling. The kids especially loved feeding the crocodiles and the crocodile show — there were tons of emotions. We watched the show just out of interest, and in some moments it was honestly a bit scary, especially when the trainers put their hands into the crocodiles’ mouths — and when they put their heads in, that was truly terrifying. After that, we walked around a bit more and headed back. A great option to add some variety to the day.
