We did the “Paradise Island (Koh Chuang)” day trip from Pattaya and honestly it felt like one of those rare tours that actually delivers what it promises. Hotel pick-up was smooth, a quick meet-up at the pier with a short briefing (nothing dragged on), and then about 15 minutes by speedboat — and you’re already on a quiet beach with soft white sand and clear water. The best part is that it really felt private: no crowds, no random tour boats dropping people off every ten minutes, just our small group. I’m not even a “lie on the beach all day” kind of person, but here it works — it’s calm, and you’re not fighting for space or shade. We spent most of the day switching between swimming and relaxing on loungers under umbrellas, then snorkeling nearby — you can actually see coral and small fish, not just “blue water and hope for the best” 😅. The fishing was fun too, even for beginners, and the fresh sashimi afterward felt like a very simple but very Thai moment. Lunch was served right on the beach (pinto-style), with cold drinks and cocktails, plus SUP boards and inflatables if you want to move around a bit. Overall, it’s a full day of easy, clean relaxation without the usual chaos — we came back to Pattaya tired in the best way, sun-kissed and extremely satisfied.
