River Kwai 2 - featuring 2 waterfalls, 2 rafting trips, 2 hot springs, 2 caves, and 2 temples. Double the …
mishin_sergey
We had already been to the River Kwai before, but this time the trip felt completely different - as if you’re seeing a familiar place from a new perspective. The program itself was very strong and packed, with a lot of real impressions. The overnight hotel was quite simple, but full of atmosphere - an authentic option that actually fits the Kwai perfectly. We really loved the river rafting in life jackets: great emotions, and the photos under the waterfall turned out absolutely amazing. The hot springs were decent, but personally I preferred the jungle ones - they feel more natural and secluded. The train on the Death Railway impresses mainly because of its history, not its looks - once you realize what people went through there, you’re guaranteed goosebumps. The umbrella market was a genuine surprise: vendors really sit right on the tracks, and everything happens in just seconds. Swimming with elephants is available for an extra fee. A tip here: definitely watch how it looks first or ask the guide in detail to understand if this format suits you. For example, I didn’t really enjoy it when the elephant lifted me with its trunk and dropped me into muddy water. Overall, the emotions were very positive - exactly like a real adventure in an exotic country. The memories are vivid, and the trip definitely left a mark. Highly recommended ❤️
